In an effort to ensure continuity of services, the North Henderson Counseling Department assigns students to a counselor alphabetically based on the student’s last name. By doing this, counselors will be able to meet with and follow students throughout their entire 4-year high school career. Our goal is to provide comprehensive school counseling services focused on the academic, personal/social and career oriented needs of our students.

Registrar
Student enrollments/withdrawals; student records; transcripts and immunizations
School Social Worker
Assists students with basic needs (food, shelter, clothing, etc.) and all around support
Graduation Coach
Assists students with determining academic goals, identifying resources/support systems , attendance recovery and a 4-year graduation plan
ESL High School Success Advocate
Assists ESL students with a variety of needs
College Advising Core
Assists students with post-secondary planning
Career Coach
Assists students with determining career goals and identifying community college programs that will enable students to achieve these goals
NHHS School Nurse
Assists students with health care concerns and case management
Career Development Coordinator
Coordinates job shadowing, internship and apprenticeship opportunities for students
